BILD poll: One in two Germans support more aid for Ukraine!

According to a poll, a majority of Germans support providing more aid to Ukraine to help it repel a Russian invasion.
Some 52 percent of respondents said the West should offer more support to Ukraine if Russia does not agree to a ceasefire and peace negotiations.
In particular, in the INSA poll for the newspaper 'Bild', 28% of respondents are in favor of providing both military and economic aid to Ukraine. 12% argue that the aid should be either military or economic.
35% of respondents believe that Germany should stop supporting Ukraine, while 13% did not express an opinion.
Germans still fear a prolonged war, the poll showed. 54% of respondents expressed concern about the possibility of Russia attacking a NATO member country, such as Poland or Lithuania, according to Bild.
However, this percentage has decreased by 8 points compared to a survey conducted in September 2025.
