DP protest, Salianji: Like "headless chickens". Wandering around the city to hide the low turnout
Former Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji, invited to the RTSH show "Trialog", commented on the opposition's latest protest, describing it as disorganized and without a clear message. He said that the way the protest was conducted was an "abuse by the leadership", comparing it to walking "like a headless chicken".
Salianji stressed that the protest had no symbolism and that the choice to move around the city was a way to avoid the fact that participation was lower than other times.
Describing the protest as "neither strong nor soft, neither peaceful nor violent," Salianji said the focus had completely shifted from its purpose.
" For me, that whole protest was a waste of the protest leadership. It was like walking around the dinner table without knowing where we are going. It's like walking like a headless chicken, wandering around without knowing where. If it were a symbolic protest, there are institutions. This was a way to avoid an element that was evident in this protest, there was less participation than other times and let's go wandering around the city. The protest was not violent. These protests are something in between, neither strong nor soft, neither peaceful nor violent. The focus was completely shifted ," the former MP said.
