
Storms and tornadoes hit the US, 7 dead

At least seven people have died from severe storms and tornadoes that swept across the central and southern United States, local authorities said on Thursday.
Several states from Arkansas to Ohio have faced windstorms, tornadoes and heavy rainfall.

American meteorologists predict that extreme events, which have the risk of causing catastrophic flooding, will continue until tomorrow.
Indiana Governor Mike Brown said he was activating the National Guard to help respond to the storm.
"We're pretty concerned, as concerned as we can be," said Jimmy Barham, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service.
