Moscow peace meeting, Trump: The war between Russia and Ukraine is a mess! When I end it I want the Nobel Prize

The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has commented on the meeting held today in Moscow between American diplomats and the Russian side to negotiate a cessation of the war with Ukraine.

Trump has described the conflict between Russia and Ukraine as a mess, which he says would not have started if he had been president since February 2022, when Russia decided to attack Ukraine.

" I've solved eight wars. This will be the ninth, and our people are in Russia right now to see if we can solve it. It's not an easy situation, let me tell you, what a mess. It's a war that would never have happened if I were president ," Trump declared, as the meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and his envoy, Steve Witkoff and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is taking place in Moscow.

Trump then jokingly suggested once again that he should receive the Nobel Peace Prize if he ends this war.onta Ukraine. Trump was one of the contenders to win the peace prize this year after ending the conflict in the Middle East.
