Trump warns Iran: Make a deal or face serious consequences

United States President Donald Trump has called on Iran to reach an agreement to end the conflict as soon as possible, while reports are circulating in the American media that Washington is considering resuming bombing.
In an interview with French network BFMTV, Trump warned that Tehran would face "very difficult times" if it did not accept a deal, hinting that tensions could escalate further.
"I don't know if they will. But if they don't, they will go through a very difficult period. They have an interest in reaching an agreement," the American president declared.
Trump's statements come at a time of high tension in the Middle East, with the New York Times reporting earlier that the US and Israel are engaged in "intense preparations" for a possible resumption of military operations against Iran.
