Applications for university, Manastirliu: Today, the last day to select the 10 study programs

All high school graduates who want to pursue higher education at universities, today, August 3, is the deadline to apply for the programs they wish to pursue through the "U-Albania" portal.
The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, reminded all high school graduates in a post on social media that "today is the last day to select the 10 study programs in the first round of applications to our universities."
Earlier, Minister Manastirliu announced that the application and registration process is carried out online on the university portal "U-Albania".
Candidates, before applying for the selection of preferences on the university application portal, pay the application fee in the amount of 2000 lek, at the offices of the Albanian Post Office or at second-tier banks, through the receipt for collection, which they download on the "U-Albania" portal.
Payment is made by July 28, 2025. After submitting the payment mandate, school secretaries confirm the payment made by July 28, on the "U-Albania" portal.
Next, the online application is carried out and the specified period for this is July 29 to August 3. During this period, high school graduates choose 10 study programs.
August 29 to September 11 is the registration phase at Higher Education Institutions, while there will be an actual publication of the rankings, which will take place in 7 48-hour phases over 14 days.
Finally, there is the deregistration phase, which is scheduled to last two days, from September 12-13.
