The State Department's report on Albania, published a few days ago, passed in silence in our country. This report, with a focus on potential American investors, reflected the gray and depressing reality of the Albanian economy, was a detailed resonance of the structural problems of the economic and political system in the country, but neither the government, nor the opposition, nor the media, no one reacted.
Why is Albania silent? Why does the government not respond to the criticism of the institution with the highest expertise in the world?
What about the paradox of the opposition and the DP... how is it explained that they are silent about what should be the most explosive political fuel, which would be enough to ignite the fire of revolt in any other Western country? What interests are affected? They only talk about the crime aspect, but they are silent about the oligarchs and the support that this report gives to SPAK!
No one speaks, they are silent and noisily overlap this report, the voice of America, with the dramas and comedies of our small province.
Why does big America keep its mouth shut and its voice low in small Albania?
What economic and governance reality did the DASH report highlight?
Foreign investors perceive Albania as a difficult place to do business:
the informal economy, corruption, and lack of legal predictability hinder development.
Corruption is widespread, says the DASH Report, in the judiciary, public procurement, PPP tenders, and the media; while contracts and laws are not implemented efficiently but according to the government's clemency.
Distortion of competition was one of the most used terms in this report... Albania does not have fair competition in the economy, but rather distorted competition, the DASH report repeated several times, specifying that:
“Public-private partnership (PPP) contracts and political connections favor oligarchs and businesses connected to power.”
But so far we are within the framework of the findings, but the sensitivity of this report lies in the concretization
of problems and corruption!
It is proven with concrete figures and exposure of the neuralgic points that Albania has a captured state system, and some of the published figures are:
Foreign direct investment (FDI) for 2024
Flow: $1.71 billion
Stock: $16.7 billion
Main sectors:
* Real estate: 23%
* Extractive industry: 13.5%
* Banking and insurance: 18%
* Manufacturing industry: 11%
•GDP per capita: about 1/4 of the EU-15 average
•Law on Strategic Investments: current deadline until December 2026
•Approved projects: over 60, most in tourism and mainly by local investors.
These figures are the great truth of Albania's poverty situation, as stated by American institutions.

Askush nuk ndihet…
Përse Qeveria nuk shprehet për këtë akuzë kaq të rëndë? Përse Ligji për Investitorët Strategjikë, është përdorur kryesisht për klientët e qeverisë dhe jo kompanitë e huaja?
Përse Partia Demokratike dhe kryetari i saj nuk e nxjerrin këtë raport në sheshin e opinionit publik? Përse nuk bëjnë oponencë të vërtetë për Investitorët Strategjikë të PS që kanë deformuar dhe shkatërruar konkurremcën e lirë ??
Çfarë lidhje ka PD me investitorët e PS, që nuk flet dot me emra nominalë?
Së dyti, sipas shifrave më lart rezulton se Sektori i Nxjerrjes përmban 13.5% e investimeve të huaja, shifër mjaft e lartë.
Por ky sektor nga cili investitor i huaj dominohet?
Aktori kryesor ekonomik në këtë sektor është Bankers Petroleum, ku pasojnë zhvatje dhe varfërim kolosal i vendit.
Përse nuk flasin PS dhe PD si Bankers ka nxjerrë nga pasuria e nëntokës Shqiptare miliarda Euro naftë dhe 8 vitet e qeverisjes së PD dhe 12 vitet e qeverisjes së PS ka deklaruar 0lek fitime?
Si mundet që klasa politike heshte për aktorin kryesor që operon në sektorin e industrisë nxjerrëse?
Së treti, Industria përpunuese raporti evidenton se ka 11% të Investimeve të huaja në vend.
Por kush e dominon këtë sektor me kaq peshë për ekonominë tonë?
E udhëhequr nga kompani si Kurum, karakterizohet nga masakra mjedisore, evazion fiskal e mospagim taksash, dhe roli monopolist në treg kanë çuar në shkatërrim të Shqipërisë.
Qeveria përpara këtij skandali hesht, PD jo vetëm hesht por televizioni i saj trasmeton papushim reklamën e Kurum LTD pa asnjë skrupull moral… përse duhet njl kompani monopoliste që ska konkurrencë të paguaj miliona reklama te Opozita?
Modeli i Inceneratorëve dhe reklamave drejtuar mediave, përsëritet këtu!
Një maskaradë ku monopolet, kanë kapur Qeverinë dhe Opozitën, dhe rezultati?
Pasojat për qytetarët janë GDP për frymë sa 1/4 e mesatares së BE, fuqia blerëse ekstremisht e ulët dhe çmimet e produkteve/shërbimeve më të larta se BE për shkak të oligopoleve dhe interesave klienteliste të qeverisë.
Ja pra ky është sistemi që vret Shqipërinë ,ky është kanceri terminal i vendit: politika dhe oligarkët e vjedhin për ta qeverisur me pushtetin që u jep paraja, dhe e qeverisin për ta zhvatur vendin nga çdo qindarkë. E më pas ndodh drama… hemoragjia e trupit të vendit tonë, emigrimi masiv!
DASH says:
"Massive emigration of young people and market distortions place citizens in a dramatic situation.
The lack of skilled labor, the emigration of qualified young people has created a labor shortage, limiting growth and investment prospects, and creating a completely unsuitable climate for foreign investors."
What explanation does the prime minister have for this report? For this passage of the report? After 12 years at the helm, is this Edi Rama's economic achievement? A country with massive emigration?
Then comes the crime and corruption part:
Market distortion by criminal activities: illegal activities and money earned from drug trafficking, smuggling, tax evasion and corruption distort competition, killing Albanian entrepreneurs. The report states that:
“Organized crime distorts the market and the economy, favors actors connected to power, and limits fair competition.”
The symbiotic Oligarch-Criminal-Political nexus and the media have placed poor, small, abandoned Albania under dictation, but... paradoxically, it silences America for not telling the sad truth.
The question that naturally arises is:
Is there anything worse than this for a country in Europe?
Is there a system of government that is blacker than this?
The State Department tells us that Crime, Corruption, Tenders, PPP, Monopolies, Oligarchs have undermined the structure of the free market economy and killed free competition in poor Albania, and what is the reaction of the political class?
PS total silence along with its media, and the DP has been holding press conferences for three days about Yuri Kim while keeping her mouth shut about this report!
It's unbelievable how even America's voice is being drowned out in poor Albania!
