Rozalinda Plaka was asleep when her ex-fiancé Refit alias Nertil Buzi, armed, went to her home in the village of Vidhisht, Roskovec, and shot and killed her ex-father-in-law and wounded her ex-mother-in-law, who died in hospital. This was the testimony the 24-year-old gave to authorities.
Adding that Refit Buzi then took her in the car and drove away, she could only see her father lying on the ground.
"I was asleep. He came into the room armed. He threatened me and I was forced to follow him to the car. When we were leaving, I saw my father lying down. While I didn't see my mother where she was," she testified. She is expected to be questioned again by investigators. Who have so far considered Rosalinde's hostage taking as a guarantee used by Refiti. In the first moments, he had a phone that did not access the internet. But during his escape, he stopped a passerby and, at gunpoint, took her cell phone.
Rozalinda Plaka has not provided any explanations regarding her relationship with Buzi, or his claims that he had sent her a large sum of money from England and she had not returned it.
We recall that the "apple of contention" in this story was precisely the money that Refit claimed to have given to his ex-fiancée's parents and that they had not returned it. But it has not yet been confirmed by investigators whether Refit alias Nertil Buzi, who was held hostage in Great Britain by a criminal group in 2022, had sent them that money or not.
