The conflict between the middle class and youth with the political elites in Albania

Because of the immigrants, whose children became husbands and wives to those who went first, as well as because of their frequent communication with their brothers and sisters who remained in Albania, the population knows what the European Union and, more broadly, the West is.
Meanwhile, a significant portion of political elites view the West from hotels, from airplane or taxi windows, or from propaganda.
A young Albanian man or woman knows that in the West you cannot delay an employee's salary by months, they know how much a member of parliament in the West earns compared to the average income of the population, they know the quality of medications for the elderly, they know what the average pensions are, and how a minister or other official is held legally accountable if they violate the law, they know how voting is conducted, etc., etc.
Whereas, on the contrary, the political elite has power, but does not have first-hand information about the West, practically about EU countries, while the population already has this information in great detail, but has no power.
This is the asymmetry between the political elite and the broad youth masses.
This explains many of today's social tensions and the fact that youth do not respect current politics at all.
It is not the first time that Albanian power elites have been in this state of asymmetry.
The communist leaders propagated socialism in the Soviet Union, they sold soap for cheese, but they did not know the daily life there, the Albanian students who studied there knew that. But they kept their mouths shut, they did not speak.
Only during the Ottoman Empire, various intellectuals living in Istanbul, and former members of the Turkish parliament, such as Ismail Bey, etc., knew firsthand the life and how the Empire functioned on a daily basis.
Even the nationalist political elite in the 1940s deified Hitler, but they didn't know what was happening in Germany at the time. They were fed the plums of Hitler's propaganda.
But, let's leave these aside. Now this is the asymmetry that produces collisions.
The youth and the middle classes are more emancipated than politicians, but they do not have power, while the political class does have power, but is below the level of the average Albanian educated with higher education, and who strongly follows Western media and television culture, lives abroad, or has brothers and sisters there, or travels there from time to time, without seeing the moon with glasses without lenses!
The political elite no longer reads! I mean, they don't read what they should. Neither the Western written media, nor European literature, nor books on political science, sociology, history, or Western philosophy...
How do I know? Just listen to their public speeches..., the vocabulary they use. They are behind the times!
