Kosovo, Osmani invites parties to a meeting on Thursday to consult about the election date

Kosovo's President, Vjosa Osmani, has invited parliamentary parties to a joint consultative meeting following the failure to form a government, where the setting of the election date will be discussed.
According to Telegraph sources, the meeting has been called for tomorrow at 10:30.
The invitation sent to the parties states: "You are invited to a joint consultative meeting to set the date for the extraordinary elections."
This development comes after today's session in the Assembly, where the LVV's mandate for the formation of the Government, Glauk Konjufca, failed to secure the necessary votes to take the post of Prime Minister.
This was Vetëvendosje's second attempt to form a government, following the failure of the first candidate, Albin Kurti, on October 26.
According to the Constitution, if even the second-term candidate fails to form a government, the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, must announce new elections, which must be held within 40 days from the date of the announcement.
