New details have been revealed regarding the accident that happened this afternoon in Peja, where a KFOR car collided with a truck.

It is learned that one person lost his life and two others were injured as a result of the accident that happened on the Pristina-Peja road, specifically in the village of Leshan.

It is learned that the person suspected of causing the accident suffered serious injuries. The news for the media in Kosovo was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Peja, Shkodran Nikçi. Nikçi said that the person suspected of causing the accident has been sent for further treatment to KKUK in Pristina.

"As a result of a traffic accident on the Pejë-Prishtina highway, in the municipality of Pejë, one person died, while the person who is suspected of causing the accident suffered bodily injuries, for which he was sent for medical treatment to the KKUK and was detained for 48 hours", Nikçi said.

Earlier, photos were published, where it seemed that a member of KFOR was bleeding.
