Political scientist Magbule Shkodra, in an interview with Ora News, said that accurate statements about the new government in Kosovo are expected today.
Shkodra: Today we have some new statements. Kurti said that he will form the government very soon and he claims to do so in the session that will elect the speaker of parliament since the speaker of parliament actually belongs to the winning party, namely LVV.
This is Kurti's idea that led us to think that Kurti probably has the numbers of individual MPs.
And here we all thought that perhaps it would be the Nisma party, which with its three numbers and three mandates would enable Kurti to form the new government.
However, today we have an additional statement from one of the 'Initiative' officials, who stated that they will only support a government if they also have responsibilities within that government, which meant that they would not vote for the Kurti government just to vote for it if they do not have responsibilities.
In politics, this means that they seek to hold a ministry responsible for what they will lead.
