PDK holds General Convention today, elects new chairman

The Democratic Party of Kosovo will hold its General Convention today to elect a new Chairman. This Convention comes after Memli Krasniqi resigned from the leadership of this political entity on November 12th.

Bedri Hamza has officially announced his candidacy for leader of this party.

Hamza has stated that he is taking this step with "responsibility and faith in the future of the party," emphasizing that PDK has the strength to unify, reform, and return as the main party in the country.

Even the member of the leadership of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Enver Hoxhaj, has announced that he will run for party chairman, but according to him, this is conditional on the postponement of the Convention.

Hoxhaj has called on the PDK Presidency to postpone the Convention for one week, a request that does not appear to have been approved, as there is no official announcement from this party about such a thing.

Enver Hoxhaj had invited Bedri Hamza to a television debate between the two of them.

Who will take over the leadership of PDK is expected to be announced today at 5:00 PM with the start of the Convention's proceedings.
