Exclusion of Serbian List from December 28 elections, EU: Politicization of CEC, harmful to inclusive electoral process

The European Union in Kosovo regrets the CEC's decision not to certify the Serbian List for the early general elections on December 28.

In its response, the EU emphasizes that the Commission's decision reflects politicization of the electoral process by the Vetëvendosje Movement and other parties, violating the principles of a fair and inclusive process.

"Such behavior is detrimental to an inclusive electoral process in line with international standards and the report of the EU Election Observation Mission," the response states.
