Extraordinary session in Kosovo/ Konjufca and VV MP withdraw from presidential candidacy

Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister, Glauk Konjufca, said at the extraordinary session of the Kosovo Assembly that through the presidential issue, the opposition wants to overthrow the Government.
Konjufca stated that the opposition parties know exactly that they cannot overturn the results of the December 28 elections and cannot get 50% in the early elections. Konjufca also emphasized that we are in a situation where the opposition can have a president but does not want to have a president.
Glauk Konjufca also said during his speech that he is withdrawing from his candidacy for president.
After him, the Vetëvendosje Movement MP, Fatmire Mulhaxha-Kollçkau, took the floor and also declared that she was withdrawing her candidacy.
