Shpat Kasapi's sudden death, Italian media: He came for his son's treatment

Renowned Albanian singer Shpat Kasapi passed away this Wednesday at the age of 40, after a cardiac arrest. The artist was in Italy with his family, where he had traveled for a medical visit for his son. The serious event has shocked the Albanian public and the art world.

Shpat Kasapi, born on May 1, 1985 in Tetovo and originally from Dibra, grew up in a family with a musical tradition. He became famous in the early 2000s, quickly becoming one of the most beloved names on the Albanian scene. His hits “A më do?”, “Valle Kosovare”, “Dashni pa limit” and “Aroma e saj” still remain popular with the public.

Throughout his career, Kasapi participated in important festivals and brought collaborations that strengthened his presence in music. Even in recent years, he continued to be active, maintaining his popularity and connection with fans.
