Election of the new President, Kurti offered the post of Speaker of Parliament to PDK, behind-the-scenes events in Kosovo are revealed

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has offered the Democratic Party of Kosovo the position of speaker of parliament in exchange for their deputies' presence in the hall during the session that would enable the election of the President. 

PDK Chairman Bedri Hamza stated that they have rejected this offer and that for his party the issue of the President is considered closed.

Although there is still a week left, based on the Constitutional Court's decision to elect the president, after this decision by PDK and LDK earlier, the election of the head of state becomes impossible.

This means that the country is heading towards early parliamentary elections, the third within a period of almost a year.
