Former Democratic MP, Ervin Salianji, invited to "Studio 24" with Ola Bruko, on News24, explained what is happening in the DP, when elections for the leader of the DP are expected to be held on May 23.

Salianji said that according to the "Basha" article that Berisha approved, he is no longer president and has no right to run for re-election, after the defeats in the May 11 general elections.

According to Salianj, he trusts the political process to change the DP, but if the legal path is followed, the impasse is solvable.

"I plan to do politics, as I said from Kukës, Berisha's stance not to leave serves him to have a better life at this stage of his life, but it does not serve the opposition, change, but only Rama," said Salianji.

Ervin Salianji: Berisha said that Basha is responsible for not protecting the vote, that the elections were being stolen, we were all of the same opinion.

But from a legal point of view, a simple lawsuit in the Tirana court puts the DP in another impasse, but I do not want to give Rama another advantage by leaving the DP at the court's doors, but that this is resolved from a legal point of view, it is known.
