"Naval blockade until a deal!" - Trump: Iranians are losing $500 million a day due to restrictions

Donald Trump has brought the issue of the naval blockade of Iran back into focus, presenting it as a key pressure factor, through a post on the Truth Social platform.
The American president claims that the United States is winning the war by a wide margin, despite the contrary narrative that, according to him, is promoted by major American media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.
Regarding the naval blockade of Iran, Trump calls it "absolutely devastating" for the Iranian economy.
According to him, Tehran loses about $500 million a day due to restrictions on maritime transport, an amount that, as he points out, is not affordable even in the short term. He adds that the blockade will not be lifted unless an agreement is reached.
At the same time, the president describes a situation of complete weakening of the Iranian armed forces, speaking of a "vanished navy" and an "inactive air force."
Trump also accuses the American media of "supporting the opposing side" and "congratulating Iran on its victory," describing them as anti-American and politically biased.
In a second post, he stated that the Iranian leadership has forced hundreds of ships to head to the US, mainly to states like Texas, Louisiana and Alaska, to get their oil.
