Elections in Kosovo, Osmani meets with Ambassador Hargreaves

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani received the United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, in a meeting this Wednesday. The Presidency provided details from the meeting, noting that they discussed the latest developments in Kosovo.

It is also learned that Osmani and Hargreaves spoke about the early election process on December 28. President Osmani reiterated the importance of these elections being held according to the highest democratic standards.

"Also, the meeting discussed concrete steps towards finalizing the President's initiative to conclude strategic agreements with the United Kingdom in areas of common interest, namely defense, security, as well as economy and trade, everything that was agreed upon during the British Foreign Secretary's visit to Kosovo in April of this year," the announcement continues.

Osmani also expressed gratitude for the continued British support for Kosovo and its citizens.
