Construction of the Jewish Museum, Vlora residents warn of protest for opposing it: We demand the return of Labëria

A group of citizens from Vlora have announced the holding of a protest on Saturday, September 5, at 10:00, near the Labëria patriotic club, in Vlora. This protest will be held with the aim of opposing the project for the construction of the Jewish Museum in the club's building.
The protest is organized by Gëzim Zilja, Drita Mici, Elvira Xhori Loli and Lela Qejvani, who, through a video shared on social networks, call on the citizens of Vlorë to join them in the rally on Saturday.
They demand the cancellation of the project, the restoration of the building and the return of the Labëria Patriotic Museum, which according to them has a special historical importance for the city of Vlora, while the Labëria Patriotic Museum was built in 1908, where the cornerstone for the Independence of Albania was laid.
"Hello, honorable citizens of Vlora. On behalf of a volunteer group of Vlora citizens, we have decided that on Saturday, the 5th, at 10:00, near the Labëria patriotic club, we will hold a protest. We call on you to come, as we are against the construction of the Jewish Museum in front of the Labëria Museum. No Jewish Museum. Yes Labëria Museum," the organizers say.
