12 years of neglect for agriculture and livestock - Time to wake up!

Egert Haxhiu, candidate for deputy of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition in Tirana County, has denounced the government's lack of attention to agriculture and livestock in rural areas with high potential, such as Baldushk, Krrabë, Petrelë, Bërzhitë and Farkë.
“Albanian agriculture and livestock have been left to the mercy of fate by Edi Rama’s 12-year rule. Farmers and livestock keepers have been abandoned, without subsidies, without infrastructure, without market routes and with costs that make living impossible,” says Haxhiu. He emphasizes that “our area has an extremely suitable nature for livestock farming, and we must contribute as much as possible to its development.”
According to him, the Euro-Atlantic Coalition has a clear priority: "We are committed to 100 million euros in subsidies in the first year, credit facilities, access to markets, irrigation infrastructure, and support for agritourism and animal farms."
“Albania cannot move forward without supporting those who keep the real economy alive with their honest work,” Haxhiu concludes, bringing a credible and necessary alternative to the Albanian countryside.
