The Chairman of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, present at the "Kjo Javë" studio panel on News 24" this evening, also spoke about a possible political peace with the leader of the Albania Becomes Movement, Adriatik Lapaj, who was also online with the studio, where the "Balluku" issue in the Constitutional Court was discussed.
Asked if he would make peace with Lapaj, Shehaj said that the Court's decision was clear, that he had not slandered.
"There is no need for peace, in fact, it was clarified by a court decision, where I allegedly slandered that he had received money from organized crime or was innocent," said Shehaj.
To the moderator's insistence, he replied that anyone can interpret the court's decision, but what mattered was who had lied and who had told the truth.
"This was the court's decision, you give it a different interpretation. People need to know who lied and who told the truth. That's it," said Shehaj.
Days ago, the Special Court ruled that Shehaj had not defamed Lapaj regarding statements made before the May 11, 2025 elections.
