Bayern Munich finds itself in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The Bavarian team, without Harry Kane in the squad, took a heavy victory in Bergamo against Atalanta of Berat Gjimshiti, defeating them with a tennis score of 6-1 and will be calmer in the return match to be played in a week at the Allianz Arena.
The team led by Vincent Kompany practically solved this match in the first half, when they scored all 3 goals. Stanisic, after an assist from Gnabry, opened the scoring festival for the Bavarian team. Only 10 minutes of play passed after this goal and Bayern gave Atalanta the second blow, as they scored with Michael Olise, while in the 25th minute it was Gnabry himself who brought the numbers to 3-0 for the German champion team.
In the second half, Bayern found the net again, as Nicolas Jackson scored, completing the scoring poker at the New Balance Stadium. Bayern were not satisfied, as in the 64th minute Olise made it 5-0 for the Bavarians, while in the 67th minute Musiala made it 6-0 for Bayern.
In extra time, Atalanta scored the consolation goal to reduce the deficit to 6-1, but the return leg will still be a mere formality for Bayern Munich.
