Elisa Spiropali's strong reaction this Tuesday, openly challenging Prime Minister Edi Rama to expel her from the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, a day after he gave her an ultimatum, has aroused great support in public opinion, from well-known figures on the left and right.
One of them is former Socialist Deputy Minister Irena Beqiraj - who has been critical of Edi Rama's government for years - saying that Elisa Spiropali is at her best.
Citing a passage from the famous French historian Voltaire, she says that today it may be dangerous to be in front of Edi Rama, but to be by his side is fatal.
