Adriatik Lapaj "surrenders" after 108 days in front of the Prime

After 108 days of resistance in front of the prime minister's office, Adriatik Lapaj has decided to end the protest that began on December 8, 2025. The decision to withdraw from the square has been accompanied by emotional reactions from his supporters, who describe the protest as an "island of civic resistance."

One of them writes in strong tones and not without irony about those who, according to him, left the protest alone:
"Keep the square, you chair-slapping prime minister! Keep the square, you patronageists! Keep the square, you rulers! Keep the square, you 'citizens' who waited there for 108 days in front of the thieves!"

According to him, the protest that lasted three months and ten days took place amidst clashes with the police, weather difficulties, and a long wait for broader civic support that, it seems, never came.

The supporter thanks Lapaj for what he calls the longest protest in the history of Albania, while also expressing disappointment at the lack of reaction from society: "I am saddened by who has killed the nerves of Albanians and who has subjected people to self-denial."

However, according to him, the battle does not end here. “We will return with stronger ideas and movements,” he writes, hinting that after 108 days in the square, the resistance is entering a new chapter — this time perhaps without tents and without waiting for crowds.
