
Online complaint for voting permit, KLGJ appoints a court for the diaspora, review within 48 hours

The High Judicial Council has approved an electronic platform to assist voters from the diaspora who cannot find their names on the voter lists for the May 11 election process. Through the "Microsoft Exchange Server" platform, the judiciary government will administer requests that can be submitted online by voters from the diaspora.
The Supreme Court of Albania has decided that the Court of Tirana will be the only court in the country that will review requests for voting permits submitted online by the diaspora.
Any request received from voters voting from abroad, for not finding their name on the voting lists, will be considered by the court and a decision will be made within 48 hours.
On the other hand, referring to the decisions of the Central Election Commission, voters from the diaspora have the right to complain about the absence of their name on the voting lists until April 11, 2025.
