Baton Haxhiu-Klevis Balliut: People don't trust you, you have your hands together with the PS in tenders

Analyst Baton Haxhiu responded to the MP and head of the DP organization, Klevis Balliu, on the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, regarding the opposition's action and credibility.
Haxhiu singled out the vocabulary used by the opposition before the protest, which are simply slogans, and on the other hand, he said that the DP figures do not convince people, because they are involved, just like the majority, in tenders and are no longer the "shadow government with clean hands of 2004."
Baton Haxhiu: Let's take the words you use or that are used before the protest. Usually there are four or five main ones that are said. This protest is vital, this protest has the last kilometer, the end of this government... This is the greatest evil, the others, the others are words and sentences that you use as slogans. And what interests me is when the vital words, the last kilometer, etc., etc. will end. By using these words, you are also looking for a technical government, but you are not looking for a spirit, inspiration.
The Berisha government of 2005 had a model of people that it called the "shadow government", which was a perspective, why should you come to power and who are the ones who will take power. These things that you are missing in your explanation, people have a hard time believing that you are serious. You are no longer the clean-handed government of 2004. Within this political concept is that what you are seeking with clean hands, a part of you, of the Democratic Party, have your hands together with the Socialist Party, seeking tenders, seeking relationships that are beyond oppositionism. Here you must explain things to the public, Klevis. These are things that are not easily cured. Nor are they cured with speeches, which are sometimes very poetic and which do not go with the atmosphere that is in Albania. And all this anger, which is in a part of the population, it is great. It is not reflected in the protest, something is not right here.
Klevis Balliu: I thank you for raising three points that are very important. First, neither in Albania nor in the whole of Europe, except for one country in the world, does there exist a shadow government. Only in England does it exist, and not both parties have it. Only the Conservative Party has it.
Baton Haxhiu: He was in the Democratic Party in 2005.
Klevis Balliu: There was KOP and from KOP only two people have been ministers, the others have not been outside. There is no shadow government, it is not recognized as a concept throughout Europe, I said only in England. As for the vocabulary that is not new, the vocabulary is true, because here I have to take them a little in order, because I am like this, at this point I will stop the debate.
Baton Haxhiu: The fact that people think that a non-meritocratic structure will be in government again, people who are conjuncture of the Democratic Party. Because only in the past elections, the people who won the primaries did not take their rightful place in the electoral process. You have to convince the people and the Albanians, why that shadow government is important to people. And you have to escape from the battle of conjuncture. You have to go beyond. You do not need conjuncture. No, just a question for you, not just for you, because maybe I understood. That is, the whole world that does not have a shadow government, wants you to catch its conjuncture. Since the whole world has this job, this logic does not work. You cannot emerge as a shadow government after meritocracy only within your party. And here we are talking about a national battle, which needs a broad unity.
