Berisha asks the US for help: FBI, Congress and Senate to assist in the investigation of the McGonigal dossier in Albania

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, appeared at a press conference today, where he repeated his accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding what he describes as an "international corruption superscandal", involving former FBI agent Charles McGonigal, the Albanian government and a Chinese company.
Berisha said that Rama's meetings with McGonigal in 2017 should be fully and internationally investigated, especially for the concessions that, according to him, may have been granted to a Chinese company following these contacts.
"What concessions Rama gave to the Chinese company requires an international investigation. I am here today to call on the FBI, the Department of Justice, the US Congress and Senate to help Albanians uncover this scandal," Berisha declared.
According to him, the opposition has submitted a file with sensitive information, which has been kept "in a drawer" for three years.
He added that Rama's ties with his advisor Dorian Duçka are "dark" and deserve to be part of the investigation, emphasizing that the Prosecution has launched a formal case "without ever questioning Rama."
Sali Berisha: Now, Rama returns to his office in 2017. What concessions he gave to the Chinese company, this requires an international investigation.
I am here today to call on the FBI, the US Department of Justice, Congress and Senate to help the Albanians in the investigation of this super scandal, because Altin Troplini, this mercenary of Edi Rama, has been keeping the file submitted by the opposition in a drawer for three years. A file of the highest sensitivity.
A file, which is enough to take the Albanian file of the Washington court and Edi Rama appears as guilty as McGonigal himself for the bribe he received and that he gave him.
But his connections with Dorian Duçka and not only Dorian Duçka are very dark.
My call is to investigate.
The DP has facts and data of absolutely unquestionable interest in this investigation process and can make a valuable contribution.
However, the man who is blocking the investigation is Altin Troplini.
There is one and only one, Altin Troplini, who allegedly opened the case, but he opened the case without ever calling Edi Rama, that is, without a name, just as he opened the case for Irena Gjoka.
So, in both cases to protect.
