The political leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, accompanied by the candidates for MPs of Unit 10, held several meetings with citizens and businesses of this area in the capital. He emphasized that Albanians seek a government that serves them, not a minority tied to power.
Basha presented the program's main commitments: a 9% flat tax, tax breaks for small businesses, support for the middle class, and a family welfare fund that includes assistance for babies, young couples, and families in need.
At the center of this program is the Albanian family. Basha emphasized that it is time for the government to turn its attention back to the family as the foundation of society, not only with words, but with concrete support. Taxpayers' money will no longer go to dubious concessions, but to the well-being of Albanian families, through a special fund that covers everything from the birth of a child, support for a third child, to subsidizing the interest on buying a house for young couples. The program also includes doubled economic assistance for families in need, a payment equal to 70% of the minimum wage for people with disabilities, and direct support for women entrepreneurs and those working in the craft or agricultural sectors.
Basha promised a final solution to the property issue, through a new compensation scheme with state bonds, within the first two years of government.
In closing, Basha emphasized that he and the Euro-Atlantic Coalition team will be close to the people every day, in every neighborhood and alley, to listen to citizens and offer them real solutions.
