Behind the scenes/ Why did Rama whip former minister Olta Xhaçka

Edi Rama has moved to another stage. He does not even imagine that one of his own would criticize or hit him publicly, but he is harsh even with those who remain neutral or passive. Former Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka had the opportunity to prove this on her back.

She became the target of the renaissance chief during the last socialist assembly. The Prime Minister flogged her for inactivity on her Facebook page. "Ever since he ran away from the government, he forgot to enter Facebook," Rama said in front of all the assemblymen. immediately after this statement, Lapsi.al opened the profile of the former head of diplomacy. The prime minister's statistics, which measures the posts of subordinates, were correct. As can be seen on Xhaçka's page, since the day she was fired, she has very little activity on the social network. On September 12, she published a photo with her successor Igli Hasani, who ended his 3-year tenure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, congratulating him on his new post and thanking Edi Rama for the opportunity he gave him.

Since that day, now MP Xhaçka. he made only 4 posts, two political and two non-political, one about a product fair in Cologne and another with 7 photos from Cologne.

Regarding the way a party based on showcases and facades organizes its work, which will superimpose communication through social networks on traditional media, Olta Xhaçka has shown herself to be very lazy. For years, Edi Rama has announced his philosophy to oppose the media cauldrons, the propaganda that is distributed by the renaissance offices. Today, in every state institution in Albania, there are 4-5 coordinators who ask public administration employees to distribute and approve the statuses of the prime minister or his videos, of Erion Veliaj or Belinda Balluk.

But at this point when simple party members are asked to engage on Facebook, for the prime minister it is unforgivable that the deputies, who should be "the last in privileges and the first in sacrifices", are not active. That's why Rama took as an example the MP Xhaçka, since she was fired, she has been indifferent. Olta Xhaçka's position worsened since she was accused of favoring a conflict of interest as a member of the government cabinet, in order to give her husband the privilege of a strategic investor.

The company of Artan Gaçi, former deputy of the Socialist Party, received in March 2021 the status of 'strategic investor' for the construction of a five-star hotel with a capacity of 106 rooms in Dhërmi, called "Dreamades Luxury Suites". In July 2021, the Strategic Investments Committee passed the benefits of the status to the company "AGTCC Hotel Management" after an agreement with Gaçi's company, and in March 2022 the decision of the Council of Ministers opened the way for the long-term use of the sea shores and the beach in front of the hotel . As strategic investors, the Xhaçka-Gaçi spouses benefited from reduced VAT, accelerated administrative procedures, access to infrastructure and the electricity grid, as well as the use of state land.

Although at first Rama seemed to protect her from the attacks, not allowing the establishment of the investigative commission and influencing the Constitutional Court that reviewed her mandate, in exchange for services to hit Ambassador Yuri Kim and defend Beler's arrest. when the latter made a complaint to SPAK, the situation worsened.

Xhaçka became one of the six women ministers who were forced to leave their seats at the beginning of September, together with the former Minister of Agriculture, Frida Krifca, who was involved in the scandal of abuses of EU funds.

Apparently, Olta Xhaçka did not like the interruption of her three-year career at the head of diplomacy, after leading the Ministry of Defense for a long time. And she expressed her dissatisfaction with the strongest form that a renaissance can be allowed: being passive. But even for this he was whipped by Rama.

And the climax of the story is that after the prime minister targeted him, on Monday Xhaçka reappeared with a post on Facebook after a full 20 days. It still remains unclear whether the last status was a return to normal, or an indirect irony with the prime minister who has become a status accountant./ Lapsi
