'The Boys of Mul' and 'The Boys of Grid', Çim Peka makes the 'intellectuals' of the DP for a lek: Berisha against or on the side of "Matildism"?

By Çim Peka
"The Mule Boys" and "The Grida Boys" are not fighting each other for seats. Both sides truly believe they are doing it for the DP: one side thinks they are saving it, while the other thinks they are reviving it.
The supporters of "Doctor Noka" on the one hand and the admirers of "Doctor Alimehmet" on the other are facing each other for the good of the DP, and believe me, that's how they think. Just as they sincerely believe that they are "doctors." Alimehmet and Noka are as much doctors as Ngjela is a lawyer.
Then we have Salianji, who has begun to see himself as Arbnori. But Pjetri went to prison because he created a political party under communism and came out of there as a dissident; while Ervin went to prison for denouncing a drug trafficker and came out—I suspect, with all due respect for that kind of path—with the respect of those around him in the Fier prison, not with dissident status. Arbnori in Burrel had other dissidents by his side.
I wish Ervin had entered as a political prisoner and not left as an ordinary prisoner.
When Sali Berisha led the DP in the early years, he really had "doctors", "students", "historians", "economists", "jurists", "dissidents" and others on his side. You can hardly find such people in Albania today, let alone in the DP. They are gone...
