Newly appointed director of QSUT, Anxhela Paparizo was received in the office by

Anxhela Paparizo was appointed yesterday as director of the QSUT.

In a previous post by the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha welcomed him to his office, where he headed the Diaspora Council.

The diaspora must have its say against the installation of a dictatorship in Albania, through its free vote, but not only that.

Berisha's post:

Dear friends, it was a pleasure to welcome the Diaspora Coordinating Council, the chairman of this Council, Mr. Mark Gjonaj, and:

2. Ms. Anxhela Paparizo – Vice-Chairperson

3. Ms. Ira Londo – Secretary

At the meeting at the Democratic Party headquarters, we exchanged extensive opinions on the situation in the country and the vital role of the Albanian diaspora for the entire Albanian national space.

Under the leadership of Mark Gjonaj, whom I thank for his investment over the years in the service of our national cause, the members of the Council were informed about the full commitment of the Democratic Party in supporting the diaspora vote, not only as a right now guaranteed, but above all as a will that must be protected from the interference of electoral crime.

The Council was informed about the repression and political trials against opposition representatives who have ranked Albania at the level of autocracies like Tunisia or Belarus, as confirmed by the three resolutions of the largest international groupings of center-right parties IDU, EPP and CDI.
This is a coup against the opposition, which serves the criminal interests of international drug gangs, but also transnational corruption linked to the networks of the Soros foundation. In this regard, the diaspora must continue to play an active role in protecting and promoting the highest democratic and Western governance standards, but also in protecting the national interest by guaranteeing the full sovereignty of the state of Kosovo.

I guaranteed the members of the Council that the Democratic Party will be fully committed to creating conditions for the Albanian diaspora to have the opportunity to invest its economic, technical and human capital in its homeland, creating the most competitive tax regime in the Balkan region.

Also, as part of our governing commitments, the DP will ensure that there are guaranteed positions in our administration for every Albanian who seeks to contribute to the country's administration.

But for these and others, the diaspora's vote must first be guaranteed to the maximum extent possible by a technical government, which can be written into the Constitution as a guarantee for any future elections, regardless of the political direction in government.

I express my deepest gratitude to the Council and our entire diaspora for every valuable contribution they make to the country, deeply believing that its role in the battle for freedoms and our national cause, as well as in the economic and democratic development of the country, will remain vital!

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the DP, Mr. Flamur Noka, and leaders and deputies of the DP: Ms. Jozefina Topalli, Ms. Ina Zhupa, Mr. Akil Kraja, Mr. Enri Çeno, Ms. Ilda Zhulali, Ms. Albana Vokshi.
