Evi Kokalari: I will take over the DP, whether I like it or not, Berisha and

After numerous reactions to a previous post in which Evi Kokalari declared that she would fight until the end to take control of the DP by removing Berisha, this Tuesday she followed up with a lengthy explanation. Conservative activist Evi Kokalari is asking the Berisha family to surrender the DP seal, emphasizing that only in that way will she withdraw from the clash with them, otherwise it will never be separated.

" The only way I will part ways with Sali Berisha and his family is when they hand over the seal to me. Not hand it over to those who have been licked by these people and are servile, who will be controlled by Shkëlzeni as he pleases, or pass it on to their families ," warns Kokalari.

She accuses Berisha and those close to him of usurping the DP, considering it not as a political party, but as inherited personal property. Kokalari states that the handover of the seal should be done unconditionally, since according to her, there is no fair competition in the DP and there is no meritocracy.

" When the seal is handed over, I will re-form that party, and I have a list of those who will be expelled from day one and will never set foot there again. In the meantime, the door will be opened to those who were expelled and expelled from the DP over these 34 years ," she promises.

Kokalari emphasizes that the opposition must be re-established with the basic principles of conservatism, which, according to her, is a spirit that she herself brought to Albania through her pulpits. She ironizes the fact that at first the word “conservatism” was treated as a mockery in the DP, while today it is widely used.

" With grace or without grace, that seal will be removed, and the opposition will be re-established on the true principles of conservatism," she emphasizes.

She recalls that she is one of the signatories of the Re-establishment of the DP in 2021 and that her name officially appears in the documents submitted to the court. However, she states that no one in that group has done as much as she has to introduce primaries, defend meritocracy, or reject the coalition with the LSI and Basha's political relatives.

"None of them have the credibility or a clean profile to take on the reformatting of the opposition. They were part of the massive and shameful fiasco that happened."

In the end, Kokalari has a blunt message for Sali Berisha and his son, Shkëlzeni:

"I suggest Berisha and Shkelzeni contact me privately to talk in detail. That seal will be obtained, this is a truth that no one can deny. When I see that you will not do it, I will take all the necessary steps to make it a reality."

Kokalari underlines that she will remain in this battle until the seal is handed to her and the DP is released from the hands of those who, according to her, have held her hostage since the fall of the communist regime.
