DP Chairman Sali Berisha has shown reservations about the scenario of Saturday's protest that will take place at 5:00 PM in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
On the show "Opinion", Berisha listed the reasons why the protests do not have mass participation, saying that Rama instills fear in citizens and censors the media.
Further, the leading democrat stated that on Saturday "the opposition will show its power and its creativity" and that it will continue the battle with the "Rama" government until the "last point".
"In the current situation, the cause of this protest is the most legitimate cause of any protest for two reasons: the government has no legitimacy due to the electoral farce, this has been proven by international reports and the State Department. Secondly, a government that emerges from fair elections but robs its citizens loses its legitimacy. In an authoritarian dictatorship, there are two terrible factors. I meet people every day. Rama, the man of personal hatred, has conveyed this spirit throughout his narco-state. Here is the undeniable fear factor. The second factor is censorship, the control that is exercised over the media. The most terrible effect of censorship is that it makes people not know what to believe. It pays 40 salaries to analysts who deceive citizens in every studio. So, when he takes the school land generously donated by the owners to build a school and gives it to the media to control it for one euro. One owner is a socialist there and receives 3 million euros in compensation for the land, the one who has Television is available for one euro and citizens for three million euros. 90% of the media is controlled by the government. I offer the young Albanian the great opportunity to build their dream in Albania and not on the streets of the world and I have proven this. In '94-'96 the number of Albanians increased and in 2007-2014 the number of Albanian citizens increased. I guarantee that Albania has every opportunity for young Albanians to build their dream in their country. Rama is not an alternative, he must leave. Rama does not stay in office during protests, he runs away, let him stay and prove it. The people have power. The opposition is in its greatest test. In a life or death test. On the 24th we will show the power of the opposition, its creativity. We will show the world that this prime minister really uses justice to protect ministers because he is himself.
