Journalist: Erion Veliaj had a plan to take power from Rama

Journalist Bledian Koka has commented on the decision of the Criminal Court of Albania to keep Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj in prison.
Koka said that Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj had a serious plan, that no one else had, to take power from Edi Rama.
" Erion Veliaj is the only person who attempted and seriously planned to take power from Edi Rama. No one has attempted to do this since the moment Edi Rama took power. I wrote an article at the end of 2018 where I wrote 'Edi Rama, Erion Veliaj, the fight has begun'. I did this based on what I saw from Erion Veliaj. Veliaj projected himself, not only as a successor, but no one else has attempted to directly fight the president. From 2019 to today we have seen a battle that has its own zigzags. Veliaj's desire is to take power from Rama ." - said Koka.
