Thus, the debate over the only mandate won by the coalition "Nisma Albania Becomes" continues to escalate, with its main representatives, Adriatik Lapaj and Endri Shabani, at the center of a public clash.
The son of Ana Dajko (Adriatik Lapaj's aunt), who is first on the official coalition list, has also reacted to this issue.
In a statement to Euronews Albania , he expresses regret for the situation created and emphasizes that, according to him, the mandate belongs to Adriatik Lapaj.
"The mandate of the 'Albania Becomes' Initiative coalition belongs to Mr. Adriatik Lapaj and the Albania Becomes Movement, as the most voted on the electoral list. My mother, Ana Dajko, like 45 other candidates on the closed list, has resigned from the candidacy before the announcement of the results. After the latest developments, any further decision belongs to the leadership of the 'Albania Becomes' Movement," he said.
The situation remains tense within the coalition, with the risk of deepening the political and organizational crisis within its ranks. We recall that yesterday several audio threats from Lapaj's supporters against Endri Shabani were published. Meanwhile, it all started with Endri Shabani's "uncle" who resigned from his resignation as a candidate of the Closed List. Yesterday, Lapaj's party, through a statement, asked to sit down at the table again to conclude the pre-election agreement, but there is still no response from Shabani and the political force he leads, "Nisma".
