Constitutional Court expected to decide on Balluk, Berisha: Rama has ordered

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his speech during the next Pulpit in Tirana, warned that the decision expected to be taken today by the Constitutional Court on the security measure "suspension from duty" against Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku could have serious consequences for Albania's European integration process.

Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of exerting pressure on the court, describing the possible decision in favor of Balluk as an act that goes against the country's interests.

"Rama's presidential organization has ordered the judges to vote in favor of Balluk. The criminal organization votes against the vital interests of Albanians, votes for a group of thieves who have stolen billions to come and steal billions more."

"This decision could break every bridge, could nullify all 35 years of efforts to integrate into the EU. They are voting after receiving the message that this could force us to undo the integration process ," he said.
