Russian media: The Prime Minister of a NATO member country mocks the American president's blunders!

The echoes that Russian media have made of the episode that occurred between Prime Minister Edi Rama and French President Emmanuel Macron yesterday, where the head of government joked about Donald Trump's remarks that he had ended the war between Albania and Azerbaijan, have continued today.
Russian state media Russia Today, after a post on the social network X, RT, followed up with a long article calling Rama's action a harsh attack on Trump in the eyes of Macron and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
FULL article from "Russia Today":
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has sharply attacked US President Donald Trump after the latter claimed to have resolved the conflict between Albania and Azerbaijan, confusing the Balkan country with Armenia in the South Caucasus.
Footage shared on social media shows Rama approaching French President Emmanuel Macron and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with an ironic remark at a summit in Denmark on Thursday.
"You should apologize to us for not congratulating us on the peace agreement that President Trump made between Albania and Azerbaijan," Rami is heard saying to Macron.
"I'm sorry about that," Macron is heard responding, as the three leaders laugh.
Batuta was referring to Trump's state visit to the United Kingdom two weeks ago, where he cited the "Azerbaijan and Albania solution" as an example of his peace history, mispronouncing Azerbaijan while confusing Albania with Armenia.
Armenia and Azerbaijan, both former Soviet republics, were embroiled in conflict for decades over the Nagorno-Karabakh region before Azerbaijan reclaimed it in 2023.
In August, the leaders of the two countries signed a US-brokered peace declaration, renouncing territorial claims and pledging to refrain from the use of force, although the agreement has not yet entered into force.
France has urged both sides to finalize the treaty, with Macron calling the agreement vital for European security.
Trump's latest mistake added to a long history of geographical errors.
He has called Belgium a "beautiful city", invented the country of "Nambia" at a UN luncheon, confused the Baltic countries with the Balkans and once praised the "Prince of Whales".
Other American presidents have also stumbled. George W. Bush famously praised the Australian leader for visiting "Austrian troops" in Iraq, while Joe Biden confused Syria with Libya and Colombia with Venezuela.
