Myslim Murrizi ends the "quarrel" with Dash Sula, extends his hand for unity: Come to the meeting, let's get together, let's fix the DP
Two former Democratic Party MPs, Myslim Murrizi and Dash Sula, have been exchanging successive virtual remarks over the past few hours about the way in which the political force they were part of has been managed over the years.
It was Murrizi who initially accused the Democrats of remaining silent at party meetings, while now criticizing the way the right is being managed. A response came immediately from Sula, who did not "spare" his former Democratic colleague at all.
He emphasized that there has been constant criticism of the situation in the DP, starting from the primaries organized before the elections, and that he has not for a moment been hiding like an "ostrich" for a mandate in the next Assembly, thus ironizing Murrizi, who in the May 11 elections ran again under the right-wing logo but failed to receive the mandate.
It didn't take long for Murrizi to respond. In his Facebook post, he acknowledged Sula's contribution and previous positions in the DP since 2007, but raised questions about his and others' silence within the forums of this political force, especially after 2023 when the "union" between the "two Democratic Parties", Berisha's and Basha's, took place.
Murrizi further says that he was the only one who publicly opposed the closed lists and in the May 11 elections he ran almost independently, receiving over 7,000 votes, although he was not elected due to the division of mandates.
"But I said why didn't you speak within the DP forums from 2021-2025 or more precisely from 2023 when the "union" between those who eat the bully and those who use the bully against the Democrats occurred???
I have been and am in the National Council since April 2022 and from October 2023 as a deputy you should have also been in the National Council when Bardhi, Gjekmarkaj, Tabaku, etc. came.
I'm talking about this silence, and to be honest, I've included you in my status so that I don't get prejudiced by these others who have been applauding for 2-3 years in a row at every meeting while remaining silent and now come across as "revolutionaries."
"I have been the only Dash who has declared since July 2024 that I will never accept being part of the closed lists because I consider it shameful to hide like a dog from the citizens' vote," Murrizi wrote, while closing the post with an invitation for Dash Sula to join him in the meeting to unite voices against hypocrisy and empty applause.
Murriz's full reaction:
I saw the reaction of MP Mr. Dash Sula who responded to one of my posts.
Everything you wrote in the history of your debates from 2007 stands and I absolutely do not forget it easily, even though I was out of power in the DP in the years 2005-2013.
But I said why didn't you speak within the DP forums from 2021-2025 or more precisely from 2023 when the "union" between those who eat the scum and those who use the scum against the democrats occurred???

I have been the only Aries who has declared since July 2024 that I will never accept being part of the closed lists because I consider it shameful to hide like a dog from the citizens' vote.
I ran on the open list almost independently, going against the structures commanded and the leaders, and I received 7,250 votes. If the DP had not won 13 mandates, but 15 mandates, I would have been the winner.
Let's come to the meeting, Dash, and talk so that we become a majority that doesn't applaud like hypocrites, because that's the only way the DP, the Opposition, and the DEMOCRATS will benefit.
