Enkelejd Alibeaj and journalist Bledar Koka clashed on Andrea Danglli's Off the Record show on A2 CNN after the statement that "Sali Berisha is leftist, even the worst part of the left."
Alibeaj's comment caused an immediate reaction from Koka, who challenged the former MP with a direct question.
"But when he made you a minister, were you right-wing then? Now that he is in opposition, are you left-wing?" Koka said, accusing Alibeaj of contradictions in his positions.
Alibeaj reacted by saying that he had “whitened Berisha’s face,” since, according to him, he had not turned out to be “a thief like the others.” But Koka intervened again, emphasizing that in the eyes of many Democrats, Berisha continues to be considered a representative of the right. “Even many of those who were with him in government, including you, once believed that he was a leader of the right,” the journalist said, writes A2 CNN.
The debate continued, as Alibeaj claimed that Berisha showed his true character “from the moment he started thinking about his family.” Koka countered: “If you knew that he was doing business with politics and you did not denounce him with facts, then as a politician you are responsible for not speaking out.” (A2 Television)
