Salianji's message to the Democrats: I have only one thought and one feeling that guides me, to bring the DP back to where it deserves to be!

After nearly 10 months of political imprisonment, former Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji, in a post on the social network Facebook, said that he has left Fier prison with his head held high, a place that, as he says, he had never imagined as part of his life's journey.

Salianjin emphasizes that his imprisonment is the result of a political injustice, which aimed to punish his critical voice towards the government and traffickers who, as he emphasizes, belong in prison.

Ervin Salianji: "Today I left Fier prison with my head held high, a place I had never imagined as part of my life's journey, which paradoxically turned into the iron shelter of political injustice.

For 10 months in a row, as a political prisoner, I have not stopped thinking about the injustices experienced by every Albanian citizen under this regime and about every missed opportunity to stop this evil that has sown only violence and destruction for more than a decade. The trafficker I denounced, and every other trafficker, belongs in prison!

Today I have returned to my political home in the Democratic Party. This is where I made my denunciation 8 years ago, and from here they unjustly removed me from the electoral battle 10 months ago, forcibly stopping my path towards confronting Edi Rama and his government in the Parliamentary elections.

Today I have only one thought and one feeling that guides me: to return the Democratic Party and the Albanian opposition to where it deserves and where all Albanians expect it. I will give everything, with all my human and political energy, to make this a reality together with my colleagues, friends and all those who believe in freedom and democracy.
