"SPAK is showing its first effects", Neli Demi: The Euro-Atlantic Coalition is outside the rotten system

In an interview for the Off Records show on A2CNN with journalist Andrea Danglli, Neli Demi, psychiatrist and candidate for MP in the 2025 Assembly elections with the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, explained the reasons why she joined this new political force and commented on recent developments regarding the electoral process and the role of SPAK.
" I decided to approach this political grouping, the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, because I think that the moment Mr. Basha made strong and important decisions in 2021, it was the right moment to exit this system. And in fact, KEA is now outside this rotten system and everything is being done to keep it out of the possibility of influencing it ," said Demi.
He also commented on the political reality of the elections in Albania: "Protecting votes has become a cause in itself in Albania. Elections, both within parties and between parties, should be a competition and not a war." Describing the tense climate of the competition, he added that "the more the value of the trophy to be won increases, the more aggressiveness increases, unfortunately."
According to Demi, SPAK's initiative to establish a Task Force and distribute prosecutors and the BKH to each district is an important development: "For us, this is one more guarantee." He concluded by emphasizing that "changes take time, but in order for change to begin, SPAK is giving the first effects with its strikes."
