
Parliamentary elections on May 11, the final list of voters is published! Here's how many citizens have the right to vote

The Final Voters List for the Albanian Parliament Elections, May 11, 2025, is Published
The Ministry of Interior has published the final voter list for the parliamentary elections, dated May 11, 2025, for voters within the country.
According to data generated by the General Directorate of Civil Status, 3,713,761 Albanian citizens, both inside and outside the country, have the right to vote, among them:
– 114,642 voters vote for the first time;
– 1,081 citizens excluded, due to decriminalization;
– 5,225 is the number of voting centers.
The process of compiling the final voter list was carried out under the supervision of CEC auditors, passing through several stages in implementation of the President's decree, through the publication of 3 extracts of electoral components.
For the first time in the history of parliamentary elections in the country, the electoral lists include two categories:
– Voters living within the country;
– Voters living abroad.
The final list concludes the process of compiling and publishing the Voter List. The DPGJC in each municipality continues to fulfill its obligations on the preparation of the electoral infrastructure. In the meantime, citizens can apply for or renew expired electronic ID cards, as one of the 2 biometric documents used to identify voters in the May 11 elections.
