Edi Rama, in a meeting with tourist operators in Vlora, asked them to act strategically, aiming not only at profit, but also at attracting and returning tourists to the country.

"As a result of the influx that has come before them, they have been narrow-minded, thinking that people will have 12 million and 15 million there. And they have started to invest as you are doing, investing for more but seeking to invite more at that moment. They have been left with investments because people have not come to them anymore, " said Rama.
According to him, these investments being made in Vlora should also attract foreigners to live in this city, and not just as tourists.
"Vlora has the potential to become a place like those cities in Portugal, Spain and Turkey where many foreigners come to live. It is completely possible, " he added.
