Protests, a sign of Berisha's insufficient time to revive the DP

Since the beginning of the protest, Sali Berisha has tried to buy political time. First, he bought an American visa at an insane price, while he remained "non grata" on the official DASH website again. Second, he did everything to attach the DP to the protest even though the calls against him are the same as for Rama. Third, he demanded that the DP become a voice of the protest's demands in the Parliament. Fourth, he did everything to be a strong megaphone of the protest in Brussels.
Unfortunately, the time he has bought is too late, too late to make a difference, and at a terrible cost to the future of the Democrats. This is because all the time that seems to have been "bought" in favor of the protest, turns out to be more than just a time between him and the DP forums, who seem to have completely stepped out of the current political time when they pretend not to hear that their leader is undesirable for the protesters, for those angry with the government, breaking every bridge so that the opposition can be the administrator of strong popular anger today. And if the DP has no bridges today with the citizens angry with the government, what is it fighting for, to be the largest party in the opposition again? What about the various DP deputies who appear to be supporters of the protest, does he read the comments below their positions, where most commentators ask them to take a clear stance towards Berisha and not only towards Rama?
But Berisha has bought political time, but not against Rama, but against the DP. He started by putting a protest speaker, Julia Emiri, at the head of the National Council. He elected over 60 percent of young people, the age of the protesters' hearts, as party leaders, even though most of them are sons of former DP leaders. And now, he is ready to make the final adjustments in the election of the secretariat, believing that this will reconcile the DP with the angry.
We must admit that the insurmountable gap of the DP towards the protesters, towards the popular anger, is a bad luck for democracy, because if it does not prevent it, it delays the creation of a credible formation that can defeat Rama even if he gets his hands on the elections again. Also, the lack of clarity of the Democrats to separate from Berisha, with the fear that he is irreplaceable, has reduced every figure in the DP, as today Flmamur Noka seems more down to earth than Gazmend Bardhi, Tomor Alizoti, Belind Këlliçi or Ina Zhupa. Because in this battle, no one who should have spoken has spoken, except in coffee, giving Berisha the right to keep Noka close again, since he has, at least, only one opinion - Berisha.
And yet, Berisha's bought time continues to cost him dearly, not only for the DP, but for Albania. It is enough to see Taulant Balla's excitement over the presence of Berisha's "strongmen" at the protest, to clearly acknowledge that the time Berisha has bought is only worth it to him, not the DP, not Albania.
Those DP leaders who are impatiently waiting for Berisha to fall and give them the party show that they have not understood the past, present, or future of this political force, which is already risking a divorce from Albanian society.
Even worse for those who do not read the polls, which show that over 40 percent of Albanians would like different political forces than those that exist today. And this gap could endanger the DP even more, which will then depend even more on Rama in the political battle, as it did with the election of Endri Shabani as People's Advocate, so that "Albania Becomes" would not have room to win over the electorate. But, any help that Rama gives to the DP is to the point of being the largest opposition. And unfortunately, this is happening...
