Controls continue on the coastline, following the police operation codenamed "Free Beach", with the aim of freeing up public spaces.
The services of the Durrës Police Station have continued checks along the entire coastline, with the aim of freeing public spaces that are occupied without the relevant permit by entities on the coast, by placing umbrellas and sun loungers.
During the checks, in public spaces, on Currilave beach, in neighborhood no. 1, a total of 91 sets of umbrellas and sun loungers, which had been illegally placed by 3 citizens, were removed and seized.
Following the actions, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where proceedings were initiated against citizens BD, 33 years old, DV, 56 years old, and EH, 34 years old, all three residents of Durrës.
Police services will continue checks along the entire coastline, with the aim of freeing up public spaces for vacationers, and verifying the activities carried out by subjects during the summer season.
