
Pasta with noodles

One recipe worth trying is the pasta with noodles.
It takes a little time to prepare, but the wait and effort will ultimately be rewarded with the best taste.

Ingredients
For the dough
500g flour
One and a half tablespoons of olive oil
One teaspoon of salt
100g melted butter and 100ml olive oil beaten together to be used for brushing the noodles
A little water
For the filling
1 package of pasta that you use for pastiço
5 eggs
300ml milk
100g butter
300g white cheese
Salt and black pepper
Preparation
First, pour the flour onto the table where you will be working and make a small opening in the middle, then add the olive oil and salt.
Start beating the mixture with a fork and then slowly add the water.
Work it with your hands until you form the dough similar to that of a pie.
Divide into two parts, one slightly larger than the other.
Cover with a napkin and let them rest for an hour at room temperature.
When the time has passed, roll out the noodles thinly and brush them with the butter and oil mixture.
Fold the dough and brush it again with oil and butter.
The final patty should be about 20 cm.
Do the same for the other noodle.
Wrap them again with plastic wrap and put them in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
While the dough is in the refrigerator, AgroWeb.org suggests you prepare the filling.
Put a pot of water to boil and add salt.
When the water is boiling, add the pasta and stir so it doesn't stick to the bottom.
In a bowl, beat the eggs and add the milk, crumbled butter, and salt and pepper.
AgroWeb.org advises you to mix it well to create a uniform mass.
Boil the pasta briefly, and after draining it, put it back in the pot and add butter.
Once well mixed, add the egg mixture with the milk and cheese.
Mix with a wooden spoon so that the pasta is completely coated with the egg mixture.
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and start rolling it out to the size of the pan, allowing for the dough to come out over the sides.
Add the pasta and spread it over the entire surface of the pan.
Then open the other sheet of dough and place it over the filling.
Grease the sides of the dough with butter and oil and roll it up so that the filling does not leak out.
Brush well with butter and oil, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for one hour.
When its surface has turned golden and the filling has set, the pastiço is ready.
