Five foreign nationals have been arrested in Tirana, suspected of practicing prostitution in apartments rented daily, while the activity was also advertised on social networks. The operation codenamed “Last meeting” was finalized by specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section, after operational work and monitoring of the digital space in order to identify cases of advertising this activity.
According to the Tirana Police, the activity took place in three apartments located on “Qemal Stafa”, “Him Kolli” and “Tomor Malasi” streets. Three Vietnamese citizens, VP, 40 years old, PK, 42 years old and PM, 33 years old, as well as two Chinese citizens, LY, 42 years old and XH, 42 years old, were arrested. Meanwhile, the police have announced a search for a Vietnamese citizen, TT, 35 years old, who is suspected of providing the conditions for the exercise of this activity by the three arrested Vietnamese citizens in return for profit. The police inform that work is continuing to locate and capture him.

5 foreign citizens (3 Vietnamese and 2 Chinese) who practiced this activity in 3 apartments on “Qemal Stafa”, “Him Kolli” and “Tomor Malasi” streets are arrested. A Vietnamese citizen who exploited 3 of the arrested citizens, with the same citizenship, is declared wanted.
2 citizens, beneficiaries of this activity, are under investigation. 5 mobile phones with which posts about this activity were made are seized.
As a result of operational work and monitoring in the digital space, with the objective of ascertaining and cracking down on cases of advertising on social networks, of prostitution practiced by foreign citizens, in apartments rented daily, in the capital, specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section finalized the operation codenamed “Last meeting”.
During the operation, the citizens who practiced this activity in 3 apartments were arrested, VP, 40 years old, PK, 42 years old and PM, 33 years old, all three Vietnamese, as well as LY, 42 years old and XH, 42 years old, both Chinese. Furthermore, a Vietnamese citizen, TT, 35 years old, was declared wanted, as it is suspected that he provided, in return for benefits, the conditions for the performance of this activity by the 3 arrested Vietnamese citizens. Intensive work is being done to capture this citizen. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
