The previous day's meeting of Prime Minister Edi Rama with MPs and the government cabinet was accompanied by tensions and clashes.
The media reported that the SP leader had a debate with MP Erion Braçe, who then left the meeting. During the closed-door discussions, Rama criticized his party for its handling of the protests and for leaving citizens' concerns unanswered.
But, after Braçe's speech, the reply turned into a fierce verbal clash, which forced the leader of the SP group, Taulant Balla, to request a break for a few minutes of the meeting.
